Keona is a full Peruvian, 32% Accoyo white female with bloodlines of Peruvian Torbio and Peruvian Uribe. She has excellent lock and coverage. Her luster is good and her fleece has a silky, slippery handle. Her fleece is consistent and uniform. Keona's conformation is excellent; she is well proportioned, straight and upright and has great bone density and straight legs and back. She has a gorgeous head that is perfectly wedge-shaped. She has an extremely sweet disposition and she always comes to "visit" anyone who comes into the barn, standing near them and gently humming. She is easy to handle, halter, lead and give injections, trim, etc. Keona is a large female who matured early, as is typical of her mother's offspring. She gave an easy first birth last fall to a female, light fawn female - Maxine. Maxine has incredible luster and her lock is to the skin. If health permits us to show this year, Maxine will be one of the females we take to the show ring. If bred to color, Keona will throw color. She has lots of milk and proved to be a patient and devoted mother. She is bred back to Radacon for a fall 2009 cria. This gentle, beautiful well bred female will make a great production female for many years to come.
