Goldie is 87% Accoyo, Full Peruvian wonderfully dense, fine fleeced fawn female with excellent coverage and the blinding luster her sire is known and proven to throw. Our shearer who has been in the business for 20+ years stopped during her first shearing and exclaimed, "look at that," when exposing her luster. Her micron count at two years of age was 18.2. She is producing show winning cria which is no suprise since she did well herself when being shown. She is confirmationally correct with a good bite and a wonderful, calm temperment. She is easily caught and handled and has proven to be an excellent mother with lots of milk, as well as a trouble free birther. Goldie throws color even when bred to white. Her first cria is our color champion female Rosie and her second cria, Shazam took third in halter, the only time he was shown. Last year's cria was not shown due to health reasons. Her 2008 cria, Yoshi comes with her at this price. Yoshi (registration pending) is a gorgeous upright young male who, when we took Goldie out to be bred this year, captured the attention of our breeder who, like us, believes Yoshi is show quality. He is light fawn with the glowing luster Goldie stamps all her cria. Yoshi is 56% Accoyo Full Peruvian. Making a departure from our Full Peruvian genetics, we bred Goldie to a Captian Morgan son this year, Captian Wasabi who took several halter awards in 2005 including first and Reserve Color Champion at MAPACA, Second at the Futurity and First at PNAA Showcase. He is medium brown with thick ropy lock and great luster, as well. We are in a position to be moving our animals, and have discounted Goldie 30% on alpaca bargain hunters, and that price is reflected here.
