HERD REDUCTION SALE/ RELATED TO TOO MANY SALE
One of only 2 true black PPeruvian Victor sons.
The architecture of his fleece is simply outstanding with excellent high amplitutde crimp and well defined bundled structure. Staple length @ age 3 was 5". At age 6 it still regenerates to more than 3 ". Mike Safely apparently was impressed with Diamant Noir and placed him second in a large class @ MAPACA in 2004.
He is half accoyo as he is the son of the incredible PPeruvian Victor. Victor has produced too many champions to list and imparts his signature " Victor crimp" with incredible consistency to his offspring. It is incredibly rare to have these genetics in a true black alpaca. Since Victor is no longer available, Diamant Noir's genetics will remain rare and unique.
At age 6, this male is still winning competition. His fleece has maintained softness and staple length. Recently his fleece was submitted for spinoff competition. The fact that it took 1st place was great, but the fact that his 5 1/2 year old shearing scored 95 out of a possible 100 points is more impressive.
AT MIAF 2007 he was represented in the yearling grey female class by 2 offspring. Both females took a ribbon in a large combined silver and rose grey class. Judge's comments for both girls were " very soft, crimpy fleece with nice staple length".
Diamant Noir imparts incredible staple length,nice bone density, fleece density and brightness to his offspring.
