Silver Buck is an exquisite young male who has just started breeding. He definitely stands out in the pasture with his magnificent presence. We picked him to join our herd because of his Impressive head and his fine, fine, fiber (20.4 AFD; 4.4 SD; 21.6 CV, 2.7% >30. This fineness and consistency is hard to find in grey fleeces.
Silver Buck is sired by Silver Dollar, a medium silver grey son of The Silversmith. His dam is a dark Brown full Peruvian female that produced an AOBA 2005 red ribbon winner from this same breeding.
Buck's first four cria are on the ground and we couldn't be more pleased. Two are magnificent classic grays, one female and one male and the other two are females, one a bay black beauty, the other an outstanding true black female. Not a bad record for his first year.
