About Alpaca Potpourri

In March 2008 we launched Alpaca Bargain Hunter, with the goal of helping ranchers who had animals they needed to sell and where willing to take a discount. Within the first two months five animals had sold and the site received an astounding number of hits. This was a wonderful start however many voiced their concerns that the site was focused on the dropping price of alpacas. And so it because immediately clear that the next site that needed to be created was Alpaca Champs.

Alpaca Champs is about the best that the North American alpaca industry has to offer. Every female on this website has at least one 1st place ribbon and every male has at least a Reserve Color Championship.

We hope you enjoy viewing the superb alpacas on this site, and if you are looking to improve the quality of your herd, you have come to the right place!
