ZuZu is a lovely medium gray in color with a beautiful handle and lovely sheen.
Her dam, Silver Queen, also silver, was one of ATV’s foundation females and her bloodlines run through that herd as well as Crescent Moon’s. Silver Queen was never shown.
ZuZu’s sire, Patagonia’s Usuahia, a true black, was one of our foundation herd sires and a son of Caballero Andante. Usuahia was shown twice taking a blue ribbon and later a white ribbon. He stood in third right next to his half brother, Patagonia’s Compadre. He was then retired to stand stud.
ZuZu is a small girl but has great body capacity and depth of chest despite her petite frame. She is an easy birther and a wonderful mom, with plenty of milk. She adores her babies. In fact, she adores all crias and has been like an auntie to each year’s cria crop.
ZuZu has given birth to three crias, Pepper, a true black male out of Aussie Hudson Hawk, 15# at birth. Johnny Walker, also a true black male out of Aussie Rockford weighed 17.5# at birth.
AND Elva, this year's 15# CMSG female out of our Color Champ, LF del A Joshua. This little gem is gaining 1/2 pound a day and had an IGg of 2700.
We love our ZuZu/Joshua girl but Josh was working off farm this fall. So ZuZu was bred to Mr. Golden Boy. GB is an amazing fawn male with too many halter and fleece ribbons to his own credit to list. Even better, with ribbon winning cria on the ground. When bred to grey, he produces grey. We've bred him to silver, resulting in a ROSE GREY FEMALE.
ZuZu sells with a rebreeding to CH LF del A Joshua.
